Thee needs a new camera! - looks like we were sitting in the dark! lol!
It was a good night, Julia bought along some great books ( a lot of newly published) and everyone was knitting up a storm with lots of yarny and fun stuff discussed throughout the evening!

I told you they'd be bad pics. Now you understand why my blog is such a mess. I told K he had to have one for his birthday - then I can use it all the time! ;)

I'll bet that's the porntastic Tony and he nicked Julia's sweet! :P

If that's Julia herself talking - hon, I'll knit you a booga bag and fill it with chocolates if you promise not to miss any meetings :D

Well then, it must be that wicked Michelle! She knows that if she tries to miss any meetings I'll be round hers knocking on the door and showing her up in front of her posh neighbours ;)

Glad to make Tony's day. That was Michelle's fault too :D

Yes, bring your camera, mine is the living end. That's a great website. But did you notice how everyone is happy to be photographed full on? Not sure we'll be up for that.

Ooh, I've just had a thought and I might know who that is. A new member? Hooray!

I finally tracked down where you'd posted, LOL, feel like a right knitiot now :-)

Glad your meeting went so well, and you're going to be in the local paper too! Might be hordes of stampeding knitters turning up after that :-)

Ooooh, now I know what you look like, which means you're now 'real' inside my head instead of just figments of my imagination.

sorry to be dull and break the conversation, but I'm still feeling guilty about taking three balls of wool for nothing (which are now knitting themselves into a fantastic festival bag). How about we put a small contribution into a kitty for postage for charity bits we do???
Just been out buying more wool! got some beautiful firefly and ordered the mohair!
See you soon

That's what it was there for Sally :) but having a little contribution kitty is a good idea.

Bring that festival bag with you next time won't you? Bring everything!

You're not being dull, these are my blogging friends and they like to know what's going on, but it's good to see you posting.

Did you see the Chronicle? I told you I was giving him a funny look :)

Didn't manage to see the Chronicle - perhaps we could scan the pic or get a copy or the article and post it here?

Of the five pics he took for the article - they definitely did not pick the best!(of any of us I hasten to add! - I look like Chris Evans mate, Two bellies whatsisface! lol)
The yarn was complements of the Sirdar rep - it sits in his garage doing nothing! I can imagine these poor lonely balls just longing to be passed over some needles (or hook) and turned into something useful so Sally, you've done the yarn a favour and given it a new life!
The rest of the yarn was from my unwanted stash - it was very liberating getting shot of it so that I can see from what I kept, what I do want to use and get on with knitting it!
